Katy is the author, photographer, and recipe developer behind MittenGirl.com. She loves celebrating her home state of Michigan (the Mitten!) through her work. She has been a photographer for 15 years, shifting her focus to food photography 2 years ago. Capturing motion in her images is her passion and favorite thing to do! She self-published her first cocktail book, Homemade Happy Hour, in October 2021. Her professional background also includes creative project management and editing, skills that she enjoys bringing to the world of blogging.
