About Tastemaker Conference
Tastemaker Conference is a place where food bloggers don’t just meet, they make. You will make contact with incredible vendors and foodies. You will make career goals attaining invaluable information on the business aspects of the industry. Most importantly, you will make lifelong connections in a community of creatives who want to influence the world with their gift for food.

Held amidst the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains, Tastemaker Conference takes place at the stunning Falls Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This two-day event features over 20 highly-sought after brands sponsoring and attending to specifically connect with food bloggers.
You will have access to multiple classes and workshops taught by experts in the food blogging field, a sponsor exhibitor hall, and awesome networking opportunities. And let’s not forget the most important part: delicious food!

Abbey is the founder of Tastemaker Conference. Abbey’s recipe development and food photography work has been published in major industry publications such as The Huffington Post, eHow, and MSN, to name a few. When she is not making a mess in the kitchen, she can be found exploring the best spots to eat in the D.C. metropolitan area, where she lives with her husband and three boys.

Susie is a Guinness World Record holding griller, a local Utah lifestyle television contributor, a KCBS certified BBQ judge, BBQ instructor, author, and . . . deep breath . . . mom to three awesome kiddos and wife to a CPA/side-hustling musician!

Erin is the author and photographer behind the blog Meaningful Eats. Erin is passionate about creating and sharing healthy, family-friendly gluten-free recipes. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in food science from BYU and a master’s degree in nutrition from University of Utah. She resides in in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and three children.

Desarae Fowler & Kadee Morrison
Desarae and Kadee are creators for Oh So Delicioso, a foodie and lifestyle blog where they believe in “real food for real life.” Oh So Delicioso has been featured in major magazine publications, The Food Network, and countless websites. They are recipe creators and photographers for many large corporations such as KitchenAid, Zwilling, Staub, Blendtec, and more. Desarae is the founder of Oh So Delicioso and is also a mom to four kids. Kadee is a mother to three busy boys. Both Des and Kadee reside in Southern California.

Where and when is the event?
Tastemaker Conference will be held on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15, 2018, at The Falls Event Center in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
What is the return policy?
Tickets are non-refundable, however they are transferable up to 30 days before the event.
What does a general admission ticket include?
Your general admission ticket includes entrance to our two-day conference. You will get the choice of attending up to eight different workshops and classes, access to panels led by food influencer experts, a swag bag worth over $200, and access to our sponsor exhibitor hall, where you will make connections with brands who want to work with YOU. There will also be breakfast, lunch, and snacks served both days, and a closing party on Saturday night.
Will there be allergy-free foods available?
Of course! We will be providing amazing gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan food options.

There are hotels and great Airbnb homes available nearby. Stay tuned for a hotel discount!
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is limited parking on the west side of the building and in the parking garage underneath.
When do tickets go on sale?
Ticket sales will start early 2018! Make sure you subscribe to our email list here to be the first to know when tickets are released.
How many people will be attending the conference?
There will be 250 like-minded food bloggers and influencers attending. A great place to network and make new foodie friends!

How do I get to the venue?
The venue is at The Falls Event Center in Trolley Square. The address is 580 S 600 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. We recommend you get a rental car or use Uber or Lyft.

Danielle Liss is a lawyer at Hashtag Legal. Her practice focuses on helping influencers and online entrepreneurs protect their businesses. As former Chief Marketing Officer and General Counsel of an influencer network, Danielle has extensive experience in the influencer marketing space. Danielle and her business partner also host the Businessese Influencer Marketing Podcast.
On social media he’s known as HashtagJeff, but most people just refer to him as “That SEO Guy”. Working with bloggers is a fairly new adventure for Jeff. He has spent most of his career working with businesses and corporations to expand their reach through digital marketing. In early 2017 Jeff shifted his career path to work entirely with bloggers and their SEO. He speaks at conferences, holds group SEO clinics, works 1-on-1 with bloggers, and even has a membership course for those that want to learn at their own pace.
Jennifer Kurdyla is a book editor, vegan, and yoga instructor. She worked for six years as an editor at Alfred A. Knopf and joined The Experiment Publishing in July 2017, where she focused on editing plant-based cookbooks and other wellness nonfiction.
