Shenise Foster is the owner and creator of her LLC, The Munch Travelogue and a freelancer writer for several news outlet in the Washington, DC metro area. She is a curious global citizen that loves to learn about other cultures and food ways. Her motto of learn, see and do encompasses everything she strives to achieve on her adventures and is the baseline for how she presents her travel guides to her audience.
Her goal is to showcase those untapped treasures in our world that have a heavy emphasis on the African diaspora food, travel and culture. Through her curated travel guides, she entices those that visit her website to view her curated travel guides that revolve around her motto of learn, see, do. Each travel guide provides the reader a reference point to jumpstart their wanderlust and discover an activity that may have been outside of their frame of reference. Ms. Foster has written for online and print publications such as SoulCiti, DCist and the Zebra Press. In addition, she was inducted into the 2022 Alexandria, VA 40 under 40 cohort and was recognized as the Black Travel Allianceโs member of the month in August 2024.
