Marrekus and Krysten of Cooks with Soul are husband and wife recipe developers, food photographers, and technical writers. They have partnered with dozens of brands and their work has been featured online and in print. Marrekus specializes in developing southern and soul food cuisine, coastal dishes, and outdoor cooking including smoker and grill recipes. Krysten runs the photography studio and shoots with natural and artificial light and a range of special equipment and props.
