Shani Walker-High is the owner and creator of Coined Cuisine, a recipe brand that sits at the intersection of food and finance. Through a love of great food that began in her mother’s Mississippi kitchen, and her education as a CPA, she realized there was a need for delicious recipes that are easy on the wallet and build cooking confidence.
Her journey as a recipe developer, food photographer, and culinary traveler has led to multiple featured works (including Food 52, Simply Recipes, and Cuisine Noir), two cookbooks, and brand partnerships. She is passionate about making and enjoying good food with those around her. When Shani’s not behind her countertop testing recipes, she loves to travel the world with her husband and teach her cat Noodle cool tricks.
