Leveraging the past 20+ years driving brand followers and revenue growth on behalf of adidas, Nike and Mars Inc., she is now focused on helping the most beloved PNW dairy brand expand nationally by igniting a following and inspiring consumers of all types.
Most recently Sue was the VP of Brand Marketing for Banfield Pet Hospital, a division of Mars Inc., and the largest privately owned veterinary practice in the United States. During her time there, she created the company’s first ever brand positioning which accelerated their product innovation pipeline, to launch the first-ever national 24-hour chat feature with direct access to vets. Partnering with Jane Lynch – a natural pet lover and advocate – was an instrumental part of the product launch success.
Prior to making the world a better place for pets, Sue was inspired by making the world a better place through sport. She built a strong career in the sporting goods industry, having spent 20+ years in product management, apparel merchandising, retail marketing as well as holding senior leadership roles in brand marketing across global geographies and territories, all of which culminated in a five-year stint as the Senior Director of Global Brand Innovation and Insights.
Outside of work, Sue’s passions include playing soccer, traveling afar and local, adventuring with her husband George and 4 year old twins, Jack and Siena. When asked the best decision she ever made, “marrying someone who loves (and knows how) to cook! Although my jeans may not agree with me”.
